. senior justice correspondent, pierre thomas, join us with the details. >> reporter: good morning. the two ft. lauderdale men are accused of threatening to blow up a bomb in the u.s. sources tell abc news, this was not a sting. and that the younger brother had been in contact with overseas radicals, possibly connected to al qaeda. the indictment accused the men of attempting to provide money, lodging and transportation, and conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction. and sources say, the fbi found evidence that the younger brother, had been monitoring recent fbi sting cases. so, authorities say infiltrating the alleged conspiracy was a non-starter. one law enforcement source described the young man's intent as serious. but the source said, the attack was not imminent. >> okay. pierre thomas, thanks for that report. >>> we have breaking news overnight from overseas. a new provocation from north korea. the secretive nuclear nation says it will launch a long-range rocket later this month, some time between the 10th and the 22nd of december. the launch of a rocket broke apart shortly after

o'reilly. thanks for watching us tonight. what the heck is president obama doing? that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. the w rs thing that could happen to the u.s.a. is is for a sitting president to pretty much ignore the best interest of the folks. president obama is doing something very strange right now. very strange and you should know about it. he only won the election by 3.5 million votes out of more than 120 million cast. he knows we're a divided nation answered also knows millions of americans don't believe is he looking out for them. he also knows that we have a budget situation that could send the country into bankruptcy. so it is on the president to solve the problem. this week, treasury secretary tim geithner offered the president's plan. it would raise taxes for high earning americans by $1.6 trillion over the next decade. that's on income, capital gains and dividends. also limit deductions for those folks. also return the estate tax to a whopping 45% for wealthy families. but on the spending front. there really isn't anything su

on the scene tell us one large bay tree fell that knocked over another bay tree and then both hit the house. >> it scared me. it was a big crash. and i really -- really what woke me up it fell on a ladder so i heard the clatter. i knew it was a tree down but i did not -- beyond that i did not know. >> officials say it could have been worse. the first tree was so big it would of caused more damage if the second tree did not break its fall. in san francisco, ocean beach, flooding chosed down part of the highway for the third time. clearing drains including one here that you see here. let's go now to meteorologist mark tamayo in the weather center with a look at the rain totals for right now. >> impressive considering we have the bulk of the rainfall within a few hours had this morning. just in time for the morning commute. right now, we can show you the rainfall totals and look at santa rosa. three 1/2 inches, san rafael, 3.5 inches. san jose over an inch. this is quite a bit of rainfall. we have a few scattered rain showers out this right now. nothing too extreme but scattered showers up in
